Powerful Foods to Avoid and Control Diabetes in Tamil We are discussing about the presence of health problems when we meet people. Due to unhealthy food habits, less physical work, obesity, stress is increasing the chances of diabetes. We can control sugar level if we make some changes in our lifestyle and food. In this video we are going to share certain foods which helps to control sugar level. Chew few holy basil leaves in empty stomach to control diabetes. If diabetic patients add 1/2 tsp of cinnamon powder in their food it controls sugar level and helps to maintain weight and reduce chances of heart problem. Mix flax seeds powder in warm water and take it in empty stomach to control sugar level. People take green tea as it reduces weight and controls diabetes due to polyophenol present in it. So take green tea in the morning or before food. Bitterness in bitter gourd helps to control diabetes and you can take it as a vegetable or drink its juice. Take handful of drumstick leaves and extract juice and take it in empty stomach to control sugar level. Take 5-6 black jamun in the morning and you can dry its seeds, powder it and store as we don’t get this fruit in all the seasons. Mix 1 tsp of this powder in warm water and take to control diabetes. Grind 2 amla with handful of curry leaves, filter it, add lemon juice and honey and take it in the morning to control diabetes and feel the difference in a month. Otherwise grind 1 amla with 2 times bigger bitter gourd and filter it and drink it in empty stomach to control sugar level. People with hereditary diabetes or preliminary diabetes can add 3 grams of triphala powder with water and take in the morning and evening. Grind 20 grams of avarampoo(Tanner’s cassia), small piece of dried ginger, 3 cardamom 200 grams dried vallarai leaf (Centella asiatica), 2 tsp fennel seeds, powder it and store. Add 1 tsp of this powder in 100 ml water and boil till it becomes half and add palm jaggery or palm candy and take to control sugar level.
