hello everybody I haven’t posted for a little bit part of that was I did my training session for my insulin pump on August 18th and I wanted to have been using my pop for a least a week now it’s been a week in three days so that I’m just starting my fourth day so that I can actually review it a little bit for you now I might see about getting the perfect purple you know the pink or the blue next time I got my supplies today now I’ve got the gray MiniMed neo let me show you one without opening it that’s it bottom but you do it you take off wear this red line is the plastic I’m not gonna do it’s like I’ve already put a fresh one and then you use the little lip to pull this part off and you take the tubing coil it so you can put it on your phone so reservoir then you take this off and you follow all the steps to prepare it I will make a sensor changing I will make a set changing rose water filling video what I’m a little more confident in doing it and I’ve got three boxes of these the sets which is about a month’s supply which is thirty that I’ve got three boxes which I believe there’s tacit there’s 10 in a box months 30 of those these are the reservoirs now you pull that needle plunger down and then you attack you attach back to the top of insulin bottled ordnance little pen and you then push the plunger all the way in because that will put air in and then you over so that the insulin bottle is up on top now right now my Dexcom says that I am 8.9 and I’m steady I love my big case that has Leroy the diabetic lion on it I love this because in here constantly when I know I just need to add some sweets or that is my insulin strips my blood meter my blood set device someone says I’ve got to put more I’ve got alcohol wipes in here unzip because I’m more on the insulin I’ve got I just took out a fresh vial of insulin I’ve got two reservoirs in their package these came with the meal mini met meals and I think they go into the where the pump tubing part connects and you can take it off when you suspend your insulin I think these go in there to prevent acted I’ve got three extra batteries confused one another thing of strips I’m gonna make sure careful one closing now it’s gotta be careful here is my pump as you can see it’s connected to me I have two point four units still on board like I said I just put new that’s why there’s two hundred sixty six point three units of insulin right now battery life is full now I haven’t been confident enough to what I said to do my changes video them yet but today this moment yes last night yesterday I learnt something that I haven’t seen in any other videos I haven’t heard anyone even my trainer tell me is if you turn instead of turning when you’re drinking the plunger out of the reservoir if you turn it counter clockwise instead of clockwise it opens it and all your insulin will come out I didn’t realize that and I actually I didn’t realize I turned it the wrong way and all the insulin for that so I lost three hundred units of insulin and I couldn’t use that reservoir but he live and learn I actually work from that now I also perfecting and getting its budget went into the reservoir as possible and I haven’t lasted two days but I haven’t lasted three I’ve been kind of around two and a half pitch pretty close to three but yeah so that my sensors were covered which is awesome wait because the sensors I had been told several times that they wouldn’t be covered but in the end all my pump supplies and my sensors were covered awesome I am loving having the pump I’ve had some stress for Friday Saturday Saturday Sunday Monday Tuesday booked five days on my Sugar’s were a little bit more up but for the most part they’re not going above about attack which is awesome so I also find is that if I eat out they go away up so I need to do way less of that I’m learning and I’m trying to get better and I’m getting a lot better tighter control since I’ve started on the insulin pump on August 18 and I’m really loving it I have the mini bag 630 G it’s my very first pop whatever and it’s the game changer and a life changer which is totally awesome I recommend if you can through your insurance or through monthly payments or whatever you need to do if you can’t want to tell shots of insulin a day too and you’re you’re willing to put in the work for an insulin pump and do all the steps you need you to get there I believe that it is an excellent idea and a very huge life-changing experience thank you for watching for those of you that are new thanks for joining me please like it subscribe and let me know if there’s any other videos or topics the ODSP service dog gives your service dog diabetes or that that you would like me to cover thanks P so peace out much love toodles
