Hi Friends ! I am Kumari Welcome to Bulliakka Kitchen, are you all fine? Today we will learn Upma made from Millet Semiya Required Ingredients are oil I have taken around 2 1/2 tspoon lets put mustard seeds now oil not yet very hot we can boil water in parallel Cashews thinly sliced onions chillies you can cut as per your wish you can either very small or like this and while eating you can keep it sideways ginger pieces curry leaves you need to put curry leaves before, I missed it you need to put before onions its ok even if you put now onions need not get cooked more, just a semi cooked is enough like this if it is cooked it is enough Now I am putting Semiya 2 cups quantity This quantity is enough for 2 person By adding semiya and cooking like this is one method another method is we will fry semiya separately water is not required to be boiled, after frying onions we will directly pour water we will put salt when the water starts boiling we will add semiya, this is the other method which I am not showing currently we should keep stirring I have told that we are boiling water in parallel before the semiya gets cooked, if water boils you can switch flame for water you can switch off if it starts boiling see now it is boiled but I will cook this for another minute see we will cook like this and we will pour boiled water into this and we should not use normal water in this method salt as per taste you need not stir now, it will get cooked beautifully now we need to close the lid as we need not stir. It will get cooked. now lets see how much it got cooked see it almost cooked we should not stir, we simply need to close the lid and keep few will use groundnuts in place of cashews I have taken cashews today sometimes i will also use groundnuts i will use both, so you can use as per your wish see its almost over now lets put coriander 1 more minute it should be enough and then we will switch off now lets see Its over now. it came out correctly combination for this dish is in some areas they use just a lemon slice in some areas we eat with chutneys or pickles that’s it switching off stove now Friends today we learned Semiya upma made with millets combination is groundnut chutney made with red chillies if you like this video please like, share and if you are new please subscribe if you have any doubts please put in comments box, i will reply
