How to Make Dehydrated Foods : Rolling Out Dehydrated Crackers

Hello I am Denise Bennett and I am here on
behalf of Expert Village today. We have our waxed paper and in this case we actually have
a pretty small cracker that we are going to make. We are going to flip this right over
and the trick is that we are going to need to get it thin. I am going to start with my
fingers and spread it out as best as I can and then we are going to roll it. It is actually
very easy to work with. See how beautiful this cracker is already. If you like a thick
cracker you are done. I like mine a little thinner so I am going to roll it. As you can
see the wax paper is perfect for getting this on and off and in and out of the shelves it
works very well. I think I am just about ready to roll it. I cannot tell you how hard it
was to find a rolling pin which used to be in every kitchen 30 or 40 years ago. They
are almost extinct. What we really need to do is to stop buying things in boxes or cans
and whatever, and start cooking and preparing food again and get more connected to what
goes in this beautiful body that we have and we only have one, in this lifetime one so
take good care of it. We are going to take this off now and put it on the shelf and put
it in our dehydrator. That is staying together very nicely.
