How Can I Tell If My Child Is Dehydrated?
– There are lots of signs that a child might be dehydrated
but one of the big ones I tell parents to look for is if their lips are dry and cracked. That’s a pretty obvious sign and usually pretty easy to look for. Otherwise, if their eyes look sunken in, if their skin’s dry, if
they haven’t urinated for eight to 12 hours, or
their urine’s really dark. Those are all signs
they could be dehydrated and in addition if your
child’s really lethargic, tired, not being very responsive, then that’s a sign that something
serious might be going on.
