Herbal Plant Remedies : Herbs: Ginger for Arthritis

Ginger root extract contains oleo raisins
that have shown clinical benefit in the management of various arthritic and muscle inflammation,
including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and many of the forms of arthritis. The usual
dosage is 500 mg. one to three times daily and standardize to five percent of ginger
root content. Side effects are rare but includes heartburn; usually, if it causes any heartburn,
you can stop taking ginger root extract and also, it can upset your digestive system which
is very rare. It should not be given to patients with gallstones. You can prepare ginger root
extract actually, one tbsp. or simply with ginger. You can also take tea, one tbsp. again,
you can add sugar or salt and you can add it to boiling water and you can take it with
your morning tea. Secondly, you can also take ginger powder in buttermilk or with yogurt.
If you have cough and if you have sore throat, you can take ginger juice with honey and sip
at least two to three times daily
