MICHEAL? MICHEAL: THIS HAPPENED MONDAY AFTERNOON, WHICH WAS A HOT, SUNNY DAY HERE IN OSAWATOMIE. KEITH ORR WAS OUT RIDING HIS BIKE ON THE TRAILS ALONG THE POTTAWATOMIE CREEK ON THE SOUTH EDGE OF OSAWATOMIE. HE COMPLAINED ABOUT THE HEAT TO A FRIEND AND SAID HE WAS GOING IN HOME, ACCORDING TO THE SHERIFF’S REPORT. HIS MOTHER SAID SHE KNEW OF NO HEALTH PROBLEMS. NOTHING THAT WE KNOW ABOUT. HE GETS HOT AND HE’LL SIT AND RELAX A LITTLE BIT. HE’S BEEN IN THE AIR CONDITIONING FOR QUITE SOME TIME. HE HASN’T REALLY BEEN OUT IN THE HEAT. MICHEAL: ABOUT 5:00 MONDAY, THE SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT SAID RAILROAD WORKERS SAW A BOY LAYING BY THE TRACKS NEAR 335TH AND BETHEL CHURCH ROAD. THAT’S TO THE SOUTHWEST OF OSAWATOMIE. HIS MOTHER CALLED KEITH HER OUTGOING BOY. HERE HE IS WITH HIS COUSIN IN A RECENT PHOTO. HE LIKED TO HANG OUT WITH HIS FRIENDS, ALWAYS READY TO HAVE A GOOD TIME, ALWAYS WANTING TO LEARN TO DO THINGS, WASN’T AFRAID TO TRY AND DO SOMETHING. AND IF HE’D HURT HIMSELF THE FIRST TIME, HE’D JUST DO IT AGAIN. MICHEAL: KEITH ORR TURNED 15 LAST SATURDAY. HE WAS ABOUT TO START HIGH SCHOOL.
