So, that’s what I was feeling every flight. Oh man. OH! If lightning hit the airplane
while I was on the plane, I wouldn’t fly for a while… Hey everyone, thank you for coming out today, We just wanted to ask you, do you like traveling? I love to travel, it’s fun. I like traveling because it’s always exciting
to see people living in different situations. And it broadens my perspective on myself,
and the world around me. Whenever I do travel,
I get to have new experiences, I get to see the world
and meet new people, see new places, and overall,
just have a great time experiencing traveling. Well since you like traveling, we have a quick challenge for you. We want you to simply name the places you will see on your screen. Are you ready? Okay, that’s the Statue of Liberty. t’s in New York. New York. Umm… Is that Miami, Florida? Nope. Florida? Nope. That looks like Ala Moana
on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii. Looks like New York, I don’t know. Oh. Somewhere cold. North something. I say Chicago. I don’t know where that is. I don’t know where that is either. That… is that the Sydney.. Opera house? or… something… A quick fact for you: these are some of many places that
Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, our Executive Minister, has traveled for the past 10 years. Oh, that’s cool! Awesome! Now, we want you to react to this video that you’ll see. Effects on health. Woah! That’d be painful. So that was I was feeling every flight. Oh man. mhm. mhm. That’s scary. That’s really scary, to be dehydrated like that. I think that’s something
I never really took into consideration, when traveling so much. That’s true, when you’re
sitting down for that long. Yeah. Everytime I would come back from a trip, especially if I flew, I would need a vacation
from a vacation. When I came from the Philippines, I think, the first day I didn’t feel the jetlag. I was like, “Ahh I can do this. Jetlag..what are they talking about?” But then the other days, I’m like, “What am I doing awake at three in the morning? Like, “BOOM”
I felt like it was the afternoon. With this coming into Church, being related to Church, it just makes me think of, Brother Eduardo. Because he travels from place to place,
time zone to time zone. And so, just for us to travel from one state to another, that’s tiring for us. Just imagine, you know, the Church Administration, and our Executive Minister, constantly traveling, it’s so exhausting on your body. That’s something incredible. We can relate to these things, even in our personal lives. You know, there are times where we may be threatened, there might be dangers out there but hey, if our Executive Minister has said that, then he had that trust in God, we should also have that. It doesn’t deter him. And it makes sense, like, why are you going to be scared if you’re doing your duty? It’s not traveling for leisure. You’re not traveling for fun because it’s hard on you. I can just imagine if you have that faith, and you have that calling, you know God is not going to allow anything to happen to you. So you keep going. What he faces, his priority is always the worship service, and the brethren. So, for me, it’s inspiring, because no matter what I might face, I should always put God first, the worship service first, you know, my faith and my duty first. I was blessed to be able to meet him a few times. And every single time, there’s always such a huge smile on his face. Because when he looks at you, and he smiles, there’s so much genuineness. All you feel is love and joy, and it feels so good, so genuine. You can’t fake what Brother Eduardo does. Other people can fake happiness, you know like, “Oh hi, I’m good, I’m fine.” He’s just so happy. You can see it in his eyes, in his smile. I love it. That love that he has for the brethren, Oh man, I want to give it to everybody else. Oh, it’s done. I want more. For myself, I face such small challenges, sometimes they knock me down. And, it can be difficult to get back up, but to see what he goes through makes my problems feel so minuscule, so tiny, because he faces life-threatening experiences. You know, it all the more makes me want to push through and perform my duties better than I can ever. We all can help Ka Eduardo by so many means, by just performing your duties with all your heart. You know, we have to do that. We have to. It’s what God wants. So it’s something we should want. Being able to see this video, my eyes are more open. To actually visually see what our Executive Minister
has been going through in the last 10 years. We are almost there, but of course, we need to work. So the ministers are so important. Every time he is in a place and you are able to see him, Every time he is in a place and you are able to see him, don’t take that lightly. So, if Ka Eduardo is around, go! It’s so worth it.
